a good plot would, and should have been “lets go fight eachothers clones - because there is no way we can beat ourselves. it would be a stalemate.”

but instead “lets just become really strong out nowhere so we can win”

Let me explain this episode in a breif summary.

Lets fuck up our opponents and imagine tenten in a hentai rather than an anime.

Jesus christ…. Even I could make an anime like this episode, all it is, is some people having a lil’ secret power. Every anime I watched had something like it x100. Kiba= Amil Gaoul, Bleach = (First Bankai) then the hollow shit, Claymore = Awakened state, and so on.

Oh and notice how I DIDNT SPEAK LIKE THIS THE ENTIRE TIME, 0r lyk3 +h!$, so try not to do it either.

this episode isnt as bad as pple say but hey im an anime addict so i like anything………… hehe

I think most of the posts here have some valid points. Im not a big anime fan but i do enjoy naruto and this episode was a big disappointment but i also agree with ‘Annoyed’ “imagine writing a new episode every week and getting it right to standard every time. Face it its not gonna be perfect every week and this was gonna happen eventually. just give them a bit of slack”.
Personally iv really been enjoying the shippuuden series.

P.S. This post, while not in full english, is no ‘lyk dis ya no?’ i mean, it only takes a few seconds more and its not so annoying to read, i don’t know why but i find the whole ‘den, dis, dat’ really irritating, makes it sound like you can’t speak properly. sorry about the whine

This episode isn’t as bad as peole say it is. It’s just that everyone was anticipating the Naruto vs. Diedra fight. Give the episode some slack and see what it was intended for… to show a flashback of someone beside Naruto and build more anticipation for the main event

Besides if you remember for the first series per-chunin exams Rock Lee said he is to only use the hidden technique for fights that is impossible to win. It would be gay if used it every episode (to lawl lawl Naruto)

See, they are NOT making a storyline every week, they’re just making the episodes, the whole naruto series has already been finished, meaning the manga comics are all done, now all they’re doing is animating the book, so trust me, its not THAT hard for them.

TenTen isn’t so bad. I think they just animate her fights shitty. Her scroll can shoot huge swords and stuff and they animate her fights shooting a bunch of kunai. Weapons expert ninja is a awsome idea I think. Wouldn’t be cooler when tenten killed her twin, if that twin had a bunch of huge shuriken and swords stuck through her instead of a bunch of little kunai.

Wouldn’t it be cooler.

I agree with everyone, this episode sucked ass. Not that it wasn’t realistic (although they exaggerated a little bit). What Lee did was a war tactic called morale, and the higher the morale, the bigger the chance to defeat the opposing army. Of course, suddenly having an advantage was too sudden, but with morality in place, they would’ve eventually won.

I have no sympathy for episode writers, first because the manga is already written and second because it is a super-cushy better-than-white-collar job, all you have to do is be creative and write something, it’s not like you are a firefighter or a mine worker who risk their lives every day for minimum wage or less usually without benefits - the worst injury a writer can get is a wrist cramp. Phew, I know that’s off topic but I had to get it out, I would give anything to have their easy job and get paid for it.

My quick note is that the reason I think some fans found this episode a bit unnecessary is none of this happened in the manga.

In the manga, the clones that team gai were fighting disappeared (or more accurately turned to goo which was probably clay) when deidara was defeated, there was none of this “we have to get stronger” stuff. So I think lots of fans would rather not have had this drawn out episode when the defeat of the clones was explained much more quickly in the manga, allowing the other plotline to move forward.

The last part came on 12th/13th, 14days, it’s like 2 weeks.

They don’t want to catch up with the manga because they learned their lesson in Naruto.
